Account Deletion Request

We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your anaFluent account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account using one of these methods:

  • In-App: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
  • Email: Send a deletion request to support@anafluent.com with your registered email address
  • This Form: Contact us using the information below

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile information (name, email, preferences)
  • Learning progress and statistics
  • Flashcard progress and custom decks
  • Lesson completion history
  • AI conversation history
  • Story reading progress
  • All analytics data associated with your account

Data We May Retain

We may retain certain data for legal and business purposes:

  • Transaction records (for tax and legal compliance) - retained for 7 years
  • Anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
  • Data required to prevent fraud or abuse

Deletion Timeline

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation when your account has been deleted. During this period, you can contact us to cancel the deletion request.

Active Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) before requesting account deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription billing.
